Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision - many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Our eye doctors in Port Elgin know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Our Saugeen Shores optometrists take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options, and listen to your eye care needs. From dry eye treatment to vision therapy, we provide comprehensive eye care. Maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, so we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which is vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Jade Sullivan was born and raised in Ennismore, Ontario but has recently moved to the area, joining our office in 2019. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2019. From both institutions she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List. Dr. Sullivan completed her ocular disease and therapeutics internship at the Omni Eye Services of Atlanta, where she treated many ocular diseases including macular degeneration, diabetes and glaucoma. Before her graduation in 2019, Jade had the opportunity to volunteer for an optometric mission trip in Haiti. The entire experience was very rewarding, and she hopes to get involved with more trips like this in the future.
